About the role
- Support highway maintenance and winter operations in Brandon.
- Repair guardrails, patch pavement, ditching, clearing brush, and picking up litter.
- Play a critical role in plowing and salting during winter weather events.
- Overtime may be required.
Requirements
- No education or experience required.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Special Requirements: A valid driver's license is required.
- An incumbent must live within reasonable proximity of assigned workstation.
- Possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required for the successful completion of original probation.
- An incumbent must complete all VTTC required coursework within six (6) months or be enrolled.
