About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide all state benefits including paid vacation and sick leave, health insurance, and retirement
- Technical work supporting technicians and engineers in construction inspection, surveying, materials sampling, testing, erosion control, and construction traffic control
- Perform a full range of calculations and computations
- Compile, analyze, compute, edit, and process field data
- Work involves limited decision making and use of judgment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge and understanding of general concepts, practices, and theories used in construction, construction inspection, and/or construction surveying
- Experience planning, developing, scheduling, tracking and completing projects independently or with limited supervision
- Experience in maintaining neat, legible and accurate records and reports, including computer/iPad data entry
- Selected applicant will be expected to legally operate a motor vehicle
- Safety toe shoes required
- Minimum Education and Experience of Requirement: Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Survey Technology or assigned discipline from an appropriately accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
