About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide all state benefits including paid vacation and sick leave, health insurance, and retirement
  • Technical work supporting technicians and engineers in construction inspection, surveying, materials sampling, testing, erosion control, and construction traffic control
  • Perform a full range of calculations and computations
  • Compile, analyze, compute, edit, and process field data
  • Work involves limited decision making and use of judgment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge and understanding of general concepts, practices, and theories used in construction, construction inspection, and/or construction surveying
  • Experience planning, developing, scheduling, tracking and completing projects independently or with limited supervision
  • Experience in maintaining neat, legible and accurate records and reports, including computer/iPad data entry
  • Selected applicant will be expected to legally operate a motor vehicle
  • Safety toe shoes required
  • Minimum Education and Experience of Requirement: Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Survey Technology or assigned discipline from an appropriately accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
