About the role
- Provide all state benefits including paid vacation and sick leave, health insurance, and retirement.
- Support technicians and engineers in construction inspection, surveying, materials sampling, testing, erosion control, and construction traffic control.
- Perform a full range of calculations and computations.
- Compile, analyze, compute, edit, and process field data.
Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of general concepts, practices, and theories used in construction, construction inspection, and /or construction surveying
- Experience planning, developing, scheduling, tracking and completing projects independently or with limited supervision
- Experience in maintaining neat, legible and accurate records and reports, including computer/iPad data entry
- Selected applicant will be expected to legally operate a motor vehicle.
- Safety toe shoes required.
- Applicants with at least two years of related experience are highly encouraged to apply.
- Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Survey Technology or assigned discipline from an appropriately accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
