About the role
- provide technical work supporting technicians and engineers in construction inspection
- conduct surveying, materials sampling, testing, erosion control, and construction traffic control
- perform a full range of calculations and computations
- proficient in record keeping
- perform standardized and non-standardized tests and assignments in compiling, analyzing, computing, editing, and processing field data
Requirements
- at least two years of related experience
- experience working in a team environment
- knowledge and skill in the use of computer equipment, iPad and software
- experience in customer service and interacting with the general public
- knowledge and understanding of general concepts, practices, and theories used in construction, construction inspection, and /or construction surveying
- experience planning, developing, scheduling, tracking and completing projects independently or with limited supervision
- experience in maintaining neat, legible and accurate records and reports, including computer/iPad data entry
- legally operate a motor vehicle
