About the role
- The Grants Administrator II manages all aspects of grant funding for the North Carolina Center for Safer Schools (CFSS)
- Assist the executive director in the division’s grant initiatives
- Researching and locating sources of funding
- Collaborating with partners to develop grant applications for programs
- Managing grant reporting requirements
- Spend 25% of time traveling across the state to support compliance duties
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration, or a related discipline from an accredited institution
- 1 year of directly related experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated experience in financial management (e.g. creating budgets)
- Demonstrated experience in federal and/or state and/or local government in grant monitoring and/or budgeting
- Demonstrated experience developing and/or delivering formal presentations and/or trainings
- Demonstrated experience in grant writing and/or report submission
