Provide technical, financial and auditing assistance to the Agency for Health Care Administration's (AHCA) administrators and program staff in the planning, development and implementation of policies, procedures and programs as they relate to fiscal requirements of state and local governments.
Receive and compile data on all active facilities and generate invoices for annual facility fees.
Responsible for the maintenance, invoicing, tracking, reporting and collection-of accounts receivable.
Collect on accounts by sending reminders and communicating with facility via telephone, email, fax, or mail according to specific deadlines.
Prepare report to submit delinquent accounts for collection activity, which includes intra-agencies practices and outside collection agencies.
Reconcile all payments by revenue type to ensure deposits, CAM and FLAIR are in balance.
Requirements
Three years of professional or non-professional accounting experience.
Preference will be given to candidates that have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
