About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management for technical staff.
  • Oversee enterprise desktop operations, endpoint management, and service delivery.
  • Manage Microsoft Windows desktop environments and endpoint management technologies.
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify technological needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Develop operational plans and manage budget resources.
  • Improve service delivery processes through performance metrics and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal technical teams to ensure reliable technology services.
  • Evaluate operational issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Support disaster response activities when required.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Eight (8) years of professional experience in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • Proficient in the English Language
  • Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of computer programming and/or computer system analysis.
  • Knowledge and experience with service request ticket tracking systems.
  • Knowledge and use of Microsoft Products (Office, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Active Directory, WSUS (Windows Server Update Services), SCCM (Services and System Center Configuration Manager), Windows 7/2000/XP/Vista, etc.).
  • Knowledge of key departmental stakeholders.
  • Ability to convey information clearly and concisely to groups or individuals either verbally or in writing.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with others in order to encourage and support communication and teamwork.
