About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plans, organizes, and conducts in-service; policy update; pre-service training designed to provide employees the basic program knowledge to administer programs.
- Utilizes and develops supplemental training material by analyzing, evaluating, and understanding the skills of available program personnel and selecting appropriate training delivery systems.
- Designs supplemental training programs to meet specialized in-service/pre-service training needs, including curricula and supportive material.
- Provides consultation, technical assistance, on-site visits, and follow-up evaluation and training to Economic Self-Sufficiency supervisors and specialists.
- Assists service area management staff in interpreting and implementing statewide policy and procedure.
- Assists in the implementation of the annual quality management and assurance plan in conjunction with other staff.
- Participates in the decision-making process by recommending changes in regional program policy.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and four years of professional experience in health, social, economic, or rehabilitative programs.
- A master's degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for one year of the required experience.
- Professional or nonprofessional experience as required above can substitute on a year-foryear basis for the required college education.
