About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure accurate job postings on People First and external sources.
  • Screen candidate profiles and resumes to ensure compliance with minimum job requirements.
  • Coordinate and administer skills verification tests.
  • Identify applicants to interview and ensure retention records are complete and accurate.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
  • Use web conference services to communicate with remote team members.
  • Participate in outreach and recruitment fairs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently employed with a State Personnel System agency or department.
  • Nine months of experience related to conducting recruitment and selection activities.
  • Experience interpreting and applying procedures, rules, or regulations.
  • Experience writing communications, providing guidance and direction to agency management, employees, and the public.
  • Experience with the requisition process in People First (preferred).
  • Experience conducting recruitment and selection activities within the State Personnel System (preferred).
  • Experience reviewing or screening employment applications or resumes (preferred).
  • Experience conducting quality reviews of written correspondence (preferred).
