About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical assistance for all internal DOH staff
- Monitor incoming phone calls and electronic communications channels
- Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or using remote methods
- Maintain help ticket records for all customer interactions
- Prepare new or repurposed computer workstations by installing operating systems and software applications
- Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment
- Develop instructions on use of office automation systems
- Maintain surveillance of desktop systems’ health and compliance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have a valid FL Driver’s License
- Must have reliable transportation
- Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields preferred
- CompTIA A+ Certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and reaching, bending, stretching, twisting, and stooping.
