About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supports the audit process in completing sales and use tax audits.
  • Provides technical assistance and guidance to audit staff.
  • Develops, maintains, and delivers educational and training courses.

  • Facilitates training through web conferencing platforms and in classroom settings; creates or converts auditor training content into engaging, interactive formats for remote, live, online, and self-study delivery.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
  • Two years and six months of experience in the compliance audit process performing sales and use tax audits.
  • Experience training others.
  • Six months of experience as a Tax Auditor IV or Tax Auditor V (preferred).
