About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Overseeing the implementation of policies, procedures, and strategies related to problem-solving court data
  • Data collection, verification, validation, organization, maintenance, and statistical analysis
  • Presenting qualitative and quantitative data using various software applications
  • Conducting statistical analyses and developing and maintaining data reporting materials such as manuals, tools, and dictionaries
  • Providing statistical, analytical, and research support to the Steering Committee on Problem-Solving Courts
  • Compiling, auditing, and analyzing court data
  • Preparing detailed reports and offering technical assistance to courts
  • Responding to data and information requests
  • Collaborating with judges and court staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, research methodology, mathematics, or a closely related field
  • Four years of related experience, including experience in applied statistical research or statistical analysis
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply modern research techniques and complex statistical analysis
  • Ability to organize, maintain, and update a variety of detailed and complex records
  • Ability to operate a personal computer and a variety of statistical software programs
  • Proficiency in data collection methods, statistical analysis, and presentation of data results
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
