About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Spend the majority of the time engaged in supervisory responsibilities
Communicate with, motivate, train, and evaluate employees
Plan and direct employees' work
Develop performance expectations
Meet with staff regularly to discuss performance
Complete performance reviews
Maintain vacation and work schedules
Complete timesheets
Complete anthropometric and hematological processes for clients
Determine eligibility or coordinate eligibility for the WIC program
Provide explanation of benefits to new WIC clients
Interview clients to obtain nutrition history and enter into appropriate system
Act as Q-Flow lead
Complete inventories and ordering
Maintain and reconcile logs/reports

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of medical terminology
Knowledge of community resources
Knowledge of basic arithmetic
Ability to work with infants and children
Ability to perform hematological tests
Skilled in communicating effectively and providing excellent customer service
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work activities
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with others
Valid Florida driver's license
Incumbent may be required to work before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency.
