This position requires a candidate who is creative, flexible, innovative, and who will thrive in a fast-paced, team based work environment.
Responsible for planning and conducting in-house and on-site New Provider Enrollment Reviews and validating re-enrollment reviews of current Medicaid providers.
Verifies professional licenses, business tax receipt, and lease information, among other information.
Researches Internet to determine/verify business status and ownership (e.g. State of Florida Division of Corporations website and corporate websites).
Submits findings and recommendations to Medicaid Fiscal Agent Operations for further action.
Coordinates with Medicaid providers, Headquarters staff, and SMMC plans as needed to research and resolve assigned Medicaid Provider Enrollment and Site Visit related issues.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two years of experience providing a professional level of customer service in a fast-paced consumer centric environment.
Preference will be given to the applicant that has: Moderate to extensive experience and abilities using different computer programs such as Excel, Outlook, and Word, etc., including quick and accurate typing/keyboarding skills.
