About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • This position requires a candidate who is creative, flexible, innovative, and who will thrive in a fast-paced, team based work environment.
  • Responsible for planning and conducting in-house and on-site New Provider Enrollment Reviews and validating re-enrollment reviews of current Medicaid providers.
  • Verifies professional licenses, business tax receipt, and lease information, among other information.
  • Researches Internet to determine/verify business status and ownership (e.g. State of Florida Division of Corporations website and corporate websites).
  • Submits findings and recommendations to Medicaid Fiscal Agent Operations for further action.
  • Coordinates with Medicaid providers, Headquarters staff, and SMMC plans as needed to research and resolve assigned Medicaid Provider Enrollment and Site Visit related issues.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Two years of experience providing a professional level of customer service in a fast-paced consumer centric environment.
  • Preference will be given to the applicant that has: Moderate to extensive experience and abilities using different computer programs such as Excel, Outlook, and Word, etc., including quick and accurate typing/keyboarding skills.
