About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support division wide fiscal operations, accounts receivable management, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform administrative, analytical, and consultative work to strengthen operational efficiency.
  • Analyze accounts receivables for returned cash items, fines, and costs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to the Division of Administration regarding receivables and financial transactions.
  • Monitor and prepare analyses of internal tracking reports to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Recommend enhancements to operating systems, workflows, and internal processes.
  • Serve as the division’s backup WORKS champion and auditor.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • One year of experience in administrative, analytical, fiscal, or budget-related work.
  • Experience with accounts receivable, financial reporting, or budget monitoring.
  • Knowledge of state financial systems, WORKS, or P-Card administration preferred.
  • Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and statutes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report preparation.
  • Ability to work effectively in situations with evolving priorities or incomplete information.
