About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support division wide fiscal operations, accounts receivable management, and process improvement initiatives.
- Perform administrative, analytical, and consultative work to strengthen operational efficiency.
- Analyze accounts receivables for returned cash items, fines, and costs.
- Serve as the primary liaison to the Division of Administration regarding receivables and financial transactions.
- Monitor and prepare analyses of internal tracking reports to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Recommend enhancements to operating systems, workflows, and internal processes.
- Serve as the division’s backup WORKS champion and auditor.
Requirements
What you’ll need- One year of experience in administrative, analytical, fiscal, or budget-related work.
- Experience with accounts receivable, financial reporting, or budget monitoring.
- Knowledge of state financial systems, WORKS, or P-Card administration preferred.
- Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and statutes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and report preparation.
- Ability to work effectively in situations with evolving priorities or incomplete information.
