About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform independent professional accounting tasks, with limited supervision
- Related to the collection and depositing of revenue
- Managing the reconciliation of bank deposits to Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) transactions
- Ensuring proper and required revenue management policies are met
- Process, examine, analyze accounting records
- Investigate financial information for giving advice or preparing statements or reports
- Analyze and interpret data, policy and procedures
- Research information, input proper account codes
- Participate in various audits and prepare responses
- Conduct detailed research and analysis of fee payment remittances
- Document, reconcile and distribute a revenue received report
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years or more of accounting experience
- 2 years or more handling cash, negotiable instruments or payments
- 3 years or more handling mail, correspondence, records or administrative tasks
- 2 years or more record keeping, documenting or tracking cash, negotiable instruments or payments
- 2 years or more working in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
