This position will serve as the lead Disease Intervention Specialist with the regional hub, primary coverage of Gadsden County.
Field Investigation and Linkage As the Lead Field Investigator, the incumbent provides advanced epidemiological and investigative support for Gadsden County and helps, as needed, with investigations that involve both Gadsden and Leon counties.
This role is responsible for conducting comprehensive communicable disease investigations, including interviewing individuals infected with or at risk for communicable diseases to obtain partner, cluster, and suspect information critical to public health surveillance.
The incumbent carries out field investigations to locate clients, deliver Field Directed Therapy, and facilitate access to counseling, medical evaluation, and treatment services.
