About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides executive-level leadership for Enterprise Technology initiatives, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale modernization programs across the Agency.
  • Serves a lead role in enabling the Agency to achieve strategic objectives through the effective use of technology.
  • Works with business units and executives to develop and execute the enterprise technology strategy and vision across the Agency’s business units and, as applicable, other State agencies.
  • Manages relationships with customers and all stakeholders; Report and escalate to management as needed; Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for enterprise technology programs.
  • Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors the progress of projects and releases.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years of experience in managing and leading large scale modernization projects
  • 5 years of experience working with government contracts or public sector IT initiatives.
  • 5 years of experience in Health Care management and working with external vendors and stakeholders.
  • 5 years of experience managing communications for complex, technical projects involving multiple stakeholders (e.g., government agencies, healthcare providers, IT vendors).
  • 5 years of experience in healthcare, Medicaid, or public health sectors, ideally working with IT systems or digital transformation projects.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with the following certifications: PMI Certified Project Management Professional, Florida Certified Contract Negotiator, Florida Certified Contract Manager
