About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

This is a professional OPS position located in the Division of Early Learning (DEL) in the Application Services unit
The incumbent in this position must be productive under tight timeframes, balance multiple and competing priorities and maintain goal-directed behavior and performance, sometimes under stressful conditions
The employee must be technically knowledgeable and have outstanding interpersonal skills
The incumbent must provide technical support, resolve technical difficulties, offer prompt client feedback, and assist with the rollout of new programs, hardware, and policies as directed
This position will provide tier one (1) and tier two (2) technical assistance and support for new computer networks, software, and hardware-related questions and difficulties
The incumbent should give detailed information about IT services and should refer unsolved concerns to the next level of support, as needed
Experience with Azure Intune and Azure AD are a plus.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively including verbal and written communication
Knowledge of the methods of reporting and data collection
Ability to review and monitor policies and procedures for compliance with applicable requirements
Ability to develop and organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, proposals and other written documents
Ability to utilize problem solving techniques
Ability to work independently
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments
Ability to communicate effectively verbally in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
