About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establishing and maintaining an inventory system for all regulatory licensure records and licensure updates for the Board of Medicine
  • Analyzing and interpreting data, knowledge of policy and procedures
  • Independently reviews, corrects and ensures correct database entries for imaging files supporting the licensing program
  • Provides assistance to Board staff in resolving questions regarding the preparation of files
  • Enters required information into LEIDS Document Repository
  • Prepares files for scanning/imaging according to established procedure
  • Handling all scanning files in a confidential and secure manner
  • Plans, prepares, and coordinates the methodology for the pick-up of files for scanning
  • Processes APRN Notice of Protocol forms
  • Responds to questions regarding APRN/EMT/Paramedic Protocols
  • The Team Lead reviews existing processes and identifies process improvements
  • Coordinates the maintenance and use of the Board of Medicine storage area for administrative support files
  • Main phone line person for receptionist position and responds to complaints and inquiries
  • Assists with the receipt and appropriate disbursement of regulatory incoming mail for the Board of Medicine
  • Analyzes final FSMB report for Florida-licensed physicians
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
