About the role
- This position is responsible for training new and existing staff of the Orange County WIC (Women, Infants and Children) program.
- Travel may be required.
- Train new WIC staff on state mandated procedures.
- Schedule and monitor agency-required training.
- Instruct on agency procedures and assist with job-specific training scheduling and reporting.
- Plans and creates new materials as needed.
- Works in cooperation with Public Health Nutrition Consultants regarding the training of new nutrition staff.
- Assists with the coordination of on-going training of nutrition and support staff.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for agency management.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of verifiable customer service experience
- Two years of verifiable Florida WIC Information System and EBT (FL WiSE) experience
- Requires current authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
- Must be a current DOH employee.
