About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

This position is responsible for training new and existing staff of the Orange County WIC (Women, Infants and Children) program.
Travel may be required.
Train new WIC staff on state mandated procedures.
Schedule and monitor agency-required training.
Instruct on agency procedures and assist with job-specific training scheduling and reporting.
Plans and creates new materials as needed.
Works in cooperation with Public Health Nutrition Consultants regarding the training of new nutrition staff.
Assists with the coordination of on-going training of nutrition and support staff.
Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for agency management.

Requirements

What you’ll need

1-3 years of verifiable customer service experience
Two years of verifiable Florida WIC Information System and EBT (FL WiSE) experience
Requires current authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Must be a current DOH employee.
