Providing visitor services and administration skills at Paynes Creek Historic State Park.
Explaining facilities and services provided for public use, enjoyment, and education.
Participating in the execution of all facets of prescribed fire.
Maintaining park structures, facilities, equipment, and grounds through routine maintenance practices.
Preparing forms and reports on a wide range of subjects including visitation and vehicle usage.
Performing routine patrols and security checks ensuring adherence to the Park Protection Plan.

What you’ll need

Valid Driver’s license.
Compliance with the processing requirements of Chapter 215.422, F.S. is mandatory.
Knowledge of Florida’s natural and cultural resources.
Basic arithmetic skills.
Good public relations skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift 40 pounds and assist in transporting items or other supplies 100 pounds or more.
