About the role
- This is a Collections Specialist Supervisor - Revenue Administrator III - SES position in the General Tax Administration Program, Receivables Management, Field Operations - Collection Process, located in the Melbourne Service Center.
- The incumbent prioritizes and allocates workloads, manages vacancies, identifies and analyzes workflows, performs costs/benefits analyses, implements process improvements, manages a work unit by establishing expectations, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and fostering open communication, and creates and maintains reports and presentations.
- The incumbent is also responsible for contacting taxpayers to resolve tax liabilities, recommending compromises, making corrections, and collecting tax, penalty, interest, and fees due to the State of Florida.
Requirements
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue, General Tax Administration Program.
- Three years of experience working within the General Tax Administration Program, Receivables Management Collection Process.
