About the role
- This position is a liaison between the attorney and the victims/witnesses involved in criminal cases prosecuted by the State Attorney's Office.
- Responsible for a wide variety of office duties including but not limited to: communicating case related information with victims and witnesses, coordinating trials, maintaining accurate data entry and addressing any attorney requests.
- Detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and adapt to changing situations.
- Exhibit a willingness to perform other tasks as assigned.
- Work as part of a team and also be capable of independent judgment.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalency and experience in the area of criminal justice, social science, counseling, public contact or customer service; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for required experience.
- Possess a valid Florida driver’s license.
- Demonstrate the ability to type and enter data accurately.
