Assist in the execution of the Department of Financial Services’ responsibilities for the Florida PALM Project
Serve as a state subject matter expert and exercise discretion and independent judgement in key process areas
Work on complex policies and procedures associated with financial management solution
Manage all deadlines in an organized manner to ensure timely completion of fully developed work products
Prepare presentation materials and lead meetings with state agencies and other stakeholders.

Requirements

Four (4) years of in relevant discipline (i.e., Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science)
Two (2) years of experience performing business analysis functions
Four (4) years of experience in accounting or in the management of State financial management processes
Experience analyzing system and business process issues
Experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, design, development, testing and/or implementation of financial management system(s)
Experience working in team environments
Experience in Treasury, Revenue, Contracts, and Grants.
Experience supporting system testing, UAT, or process improvement initiatives in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment
