💰 $85,000 - $90,000 per year
About the role
- Administers, manages, supervises and directs financial services programs for the Department of State
- Plans, coordinates, and directs the work of the Bureau
- Provides leadership, direction and coordination of the preparation of the Department’s annual financial information
- Coordinates year-end activities such as ensuring carry forward items are established
- Serves as a liaison for the department during Auditor General’s financial statement audit
Requirements
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, accounting or budgeting activities at a State of Florida agency
- At least three (3) years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Experience preparing Statewide Financial Statements
- Experience with State of Florida Disbursements and/or Revenue transactions
- Three years' experience with FLAIR
