About the role
- Provide comprehensive public health nursing services and comprehensive case management in the Tuberculosis (TB) and Communicable Disease program
- Conduct patient assessments and health care needs evaluations
- Perform case management for TB clients and conduct disease surveillance and reporting
- Educate clients and community about communicable diseases and health promotion
Requirements
- Eligible to practice nursing in accordance with FL Admin. Code 210-8.22 or 8.27
- Licensed to practice Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
- Must maintain a valid Florida driver’s license
- Knowledge of epidemiologic principles and practices
- Knowledge of nursing principles, practices and techniques
- Preferred TB and Communicable Disease experience
- Experience and/or Certification In Infection Control
