- This position is responsible for quality control of service delivery to the residents of Tacachale.
- The incumbent performs analytical assignments related to the Department’s quality assurance and Risk Management initiatives and projects serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Conduct quality improvement audits and validation probes and follow up accordingly as needed.
- Provide feedback to facility directors, residential services and professional service providers.
- Advise Risk Manager and stakeholders on monitoring programs, level of compliance with relevant standards, and effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Complete special projects and special investigations as assigned by the Center Administrator and the Risk Manager.
- Prepare concise, logical and complete written reports in the designated timeframe.
- Monitor AHCA Tags and trends to assist residential facilities with preparation for licensing.
- Serve as a designee for Workers’ Compensation in the absence of the Workers’ Compensation Coordinator or the Risk Manager.
- Utilize various computer programs with tracking systems, spreadsheets, progress notes and other processes as needed.
- Follow-up with new employees to identify training needs and challenges that lead to employee dissatisfaction, job failures, and separation.
- Develop solutions to improve work force retention.
- Attends and participates in committee meetings and training as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be willing to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency.
- Must be proficient in the use of office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position frequently, but also occasionally move about within the campus of Tacachale to access other staff, buildings, and materials.
- Must be able to speak and hear clearly.
- Must be able to lift, carry, bend, crouch, reach overhead, stand, and walk on an occasional basis.
- Must have manual dexterity (i.e., use of fingers, hands, and arms).
