  • This position is responsible for quality control of service delivery to the residents of Tacachale.
  • The incumbent performs analytical assignments related to the Department’s quality assurance and Risk Management initiatives and projects serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Conduct quality improvement audits and validation probes and follow up accordingly as needed.
  • Provide feedback to facility directors, residential services and professional service providers.
  • Advise Risk Manager and stakeholders on monitoring programs, level of compliance with relevant standards, and effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Complete special projects and special investigations as assigned by the Center Administrator and the Risk Manager.
  • Prepare concise, logical and complete written reports in the designated timeframe.
  • Monitor AHCA Tags and trends to assist residential facilities with preparation for licensing.
  • Serve as a designee for Workers’ Compensation in the absence of the Workers’ Compensation Coordinator or the Risk Manager.
  • Utilize various computer programs with tracking systems, spreadsheets, progress notes and other processes as needed.
  • Follow-up with new employees to identify training needs and challenges that lead to employee dissatisfaction, job failures, and separation.
  • Develop solutions to improve work force retention.
  • Attends and participates in committee meetings and training as assigned.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be willing to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency.
  • Must be proficient in the use of office equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, and fax machines.
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position frequently, but also occasionally move about within the campus of Tacachale to access other staff, buildings, and materials.
  • Must be able to speak and hear clearly.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, bend, crouch, reach overhead, stand, and walk on an occasional basis.
  • Must have manual dexterity (i.e., use of fingers, hands, and arms).
