💰 $48,000 - $88,982 per year

About the role

  • Conduct investigations for the purpose of ensuring employer compliance with the workers’ compensation coverage requirements.
  • Enter and inspect any place of business at any reasonable time for purposes of investigating employer compliance.
  • Examine and copy business records.
  • Issue, serve and enforce stop-work orders, penalty assessment orders, and any other orders required under law.
  • Conduct on-site inspections & complex investigations of various types of businesses to determine compliance and assess penalties.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years of investigative or regulatory experience is required.
  • A post-secondary degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • One (1) or more years of workers' compensation experience.
  • One (1) or more years of experience writing detailed chronological reports.
  • Two (2) or more years of experience conducting face-to-face fact-finding interviews.
  • Licensed to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Bilingual with the ability to fluently speak and write Spanish and English.
