About the role
- Serve as the Data Manager for the Financial Services Section
- Work closely with JAC staff and staff from Judicial-Related Offices
- Create, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, and reports
- Retrieve, analyze, and interpret data from various sources
- Produce ad hoc reports for management and public records requests
- Monitor court-appointed data and produce monthly/year-end projection reports
- Serve on the team implementing Florida PALM
- Prepare payroll data for entry into FLAIR and reconcile accounting records
- Perform assigned reconciliations and financial statement tasks for ACFR
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent); a bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Three years of overall experience in data analytics
- Experience with writing, debugging, and automating queries in Access
- Familiarity with scripting languages, such as SQL, Microsoft Access, Excel, and/or SQL Server
- Familiarity with data analytics tools such as PowerBI or Tableau is a plus
- Strong IT skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and strong numerical and analytical skills for research and problem-solving
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of the FLAIR Information Warehouse is a plus.
