About the role
- Perform more complex audits to determine tax compliance as it relates to sales and use tax limited scope audits
- Examine and analyze accounting systems of taxpayers
- Compute tax assessments or refund adjustments
- Prepare detailed reports of audit results
- Participate in or independently conduct conferences with taxpayers and/or taxpayers' representatives
Requirements
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue
- One year of experience as a Tax Auditor performing sales and use tax audits in the General Tax Administration Program's Audit Process
