- responds to phone inquiries
- assists with registering new business entities
- analyzes and reviews tax situations and returns
- determines tax liabilities
- collects receivables in person, over the phone, or at the taxpayer’s business location
- provides guidance on Florida tax statutes and Department policies and procedures
- assists in training and educating the public and Department employees
Requirements
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue
- One year of experience collecting tax obligations within the General Tax Administration Program
- Six months of experience in the post warrant role performing enforcement actions including but not limited to filing tax liens, garnishments, responsible party assessments, transferee liabilities, or stipulation agreements
