About the role
- Independently performs complex audits of multiple jurisdiction taxpayers and businesses
- Examines and analyzes accounting systems of taxpayers
- Computes tax assessments or refund adjustments
- Prepares detailed reports of audit results
- Conducts conferences with taxpayers and/or taxpayers' representatives
- Assists in the training of other Tax Auditors
Requirements
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue
- Eighteen months of experience performing sales and use tax audits in the General Tax Administration Program, Audit Process
- Experience with ACM
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
