About the role

  • Provide a high level of administrative support to management personnel
  • Manage incoming and outgoing telephonic, electronic communication and written correspondence
  • Manage a busy calendar
  • Operate office equipment with proficiency and use a variety of accounting, word-processing, graphic presentation, and database software applications
  • Manage ordering of supplies
  • Compose and distribute a variety of correspondence
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Perform special assignments, prepare reports and related duties

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and one year of administrative experience
  • A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for the required experience
  • Administrative or clerical experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to speak/read/write Spanish/Creole/French or other foreign language may be considered in the selection process as determined by Agency need at time of interview
