About the role
- Responsible for the accountability of all payments received with seal and expunge applications
- Processing of applications from the public related to the seal and expunge process
- Extensive research using multiple databases to ensure applications are properly processed
- Providing quality service to the public regarding the seal and expunge process as well as state and federal guidelines
- Required to meet and maintain National Crime Information Center (NCIC)/ Florida Crime Information Center (FCIC) certification
- Responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of data housed within the department databases
Requirements
- Ability to record, collect, evaluate, and analyze data
- Ability to organize files, records and/or other materials
- Ability to sort data alphabetically, numerically, and categorically
- Ability to operate personal computers and other office equipment
- Ability to read and interpret law enforcement data
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness
- Ability to read and interpret state statutes
