About the role

  • Assist the Director of Human Resources with administrative duties and serve as the HR point of contact.
  • Perform office administrative support functions requiring independent judgment, research, and collection of information/data utilizing standard office equipment, electronic platforms, and database systems.
  • Conduct audits of personnel files.
  • Manage the 5-year fingerprint screening process.
  • Complete public record requests, file reviews, document requests, and other information.
  • Responsible for monitoring the HR portal, responding to tickets, and performing other duties associated with the portal.
  • Process outside employment forms.
  • Process applicable invoices in My Florida Market Place (MFMP) and/or Ariba.
  • Gather, compile, and record statistical data, written reports, and other information, reviewing and verifying for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage HR Related emergency response tasks such as scheduling staff for disaster recovery efforts, emergency functions, and other tasks.
  • Perform other HR functions, assist with training logistics, and general administrative tasks and/or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s License or other efficient means of transportation.
  • High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Knowledge of utilizing computer technology for communication.
  • Data gathering and reporting.
  • Basic operation of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a group setting.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments and schedules.
  • Focus on details.
