About the role
- Engineer trainees rotate through major disciplines shadowing and assisting professional and technical staff
- Completing assigned technical engineering tasks
- Observing and participating in project, leadership and management activities and meetings
- Performs technical engineering tasks of gradually increasing complexity in various phases of projects
Requirements
- A Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree from a university accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering & Technology (ABET)
- Have taken, or is registered to take, the Fundamentals of Engineering examination
- For continuing eligibility, all trainees must obtain the Fundamentals of Engineering certificate within twelve (12) months of appointment
- This program is not open to registered professional engineers or candidates with more than two years of post-graduation engineering experience
