About the role
- Provide daily supervision to programmatic staff ensuring compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and program activities related to federal or state programs.
- Prioritize and manage programmatic activities related to federal and state programs and other contractual agreements in order to ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and program guidelines.
- Coordinate scope of work and deliverables by monitoring progress to ensure compliance with established timelines and requirements.
- Review reimbursement requests programmatically to verify accuracy, eligibility, and alignment with grant guidelines.
- Conduct report analysis and perform audit follow-up as necessary.
- Serve as a liaison with sub-recipients of grant funding, internal program managers, and external partners to facilitate effective communication and program implementation.
- Maintain a contract status reporting database and prepare other required reports to support program oversight and accountability.
- Provide recommendations for program improvements, rule revisions, and other related requirements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Coordinate the programmatic review of contract deliverables in collaboration with subject matter experts and external partners to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with grant requirements.
- Provide program analysis and data to support the preparation of program-related budget amendments and budget issues, ensuring accuracy and alignment with legislative and agency requirements.
- May be required to work during activation of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in support of statewide emergency response and recovery efforts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of four years’ experience in grant management, financial management, accounting, or a similar field.
- A minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory/manager role.
- Valid Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) certification or ability to obtain within first 12 months of employment.
- Valid driver’s license.
