About the role
- Monitor incidents, emergencies, and events within the State of Florida that could require a state response
- Ensure the operational readiness of the SEOC
- Collect, analyze, and disseminate information with local, county, state, and federal partners
- Document incident information in computer-based applications, generate reports, and provide warnings to local and state officials
- Conduct tests of the SWO communications systems and related equipment regularly
- Assist with planning initiatives related to the Operations Section
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) with the ability to learn and navigate division enterprise business systems
