About the role

  • Provides visitor services and explains park facilities and services to the public.
  • Maintains and protects the natural, cultural, historic, and archaeological resources of the park.
  • Conducts routine inspections and maintains park structures, facilities, and grounds.
  • Prepares forms and reports on a variety of subjects including visitation and vehicle usage.
  • Performs routine patrols and security checks ensuring adherence to park rules.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong landscaping skills
  • Exceptional visitor service skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to participate in resource management tasks including non-native plant removal.
  • Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather and perform physical labor.
  • Must work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Background screening will be required for this position.
