About the role
- Advocate for the safety, well-being, and permanency of Florida’s abused, abandoned, and neglected children
- Ensure Florida and federal legal requirements are met to secure permanent and safe homes for dependent children
- Collaborate with investigators and case managers to gather evidence necessary to support legal action
- Prepare partners to serve as witnesses at trial
- Employ best practice litigation techniques to ensure pleadings and trial presentations lead in dependency advocacy
Requirements
- Law Degree
- Member of the Florida Bar
- Supervising attorney experience
- Litigation experience preferred
- Strong communication and writing skills
