About the role
- Providing security for judges, employees, visitors, court building and grounds.
- Screening visitors and monitoring activity utilizing video surveillance equipment.
- Patrolling building and grounds.
- Managing emergency situations.
- Assisting with training of security personnel.
- Performing related clerical tasks.
Requirements
- Must have a valid State of Florida Driver’s License and an active Florida Law Enforcement Certification.
- No conviction of a felony or misdemeanor involving perjury or false statement.
- No dishonorable discharge from the Armed Forces of the United States.
- Must be at least 19 years of age, and a high school graduate, or its equivalent
- Pass physical examination, drug screen and background check.
