About the role

  • This position is a hands-on developer for .NET application development projects.
  • Responsible for architecture design/upgrades, programming, planning, and implementing projects.
  • Collaborate with a team of developers; follow DJJ’s Information Systems Development Methodology.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system problems, analyze statewide agency business requirements, and design systems.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in leading .NET development teams.
  • 5 years of working experience in Web application development.
  • 5 years of working experience in .NET applications development.
  • 5+ years of working experience in relational SQL database application development.
  • Professional experience with Visual Studio, ASP.NET, VB.NET, Visual Basic, C#, MVC.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, SQL Server 2017 or later, IIS 7, SQL Reporting, and SSIS packages.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and users.
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented programming principles and best practices.
