About the role
- Perform chair-side assistance to the dentist
- Communicate effectively and maintain professionalism with patients
- Assist with preventive, therapeutic and surgical clinical procedures
- Collaborate closely with dental staff
Requirements
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certificate
- Florida Dental Radiography Certificate
- Certification in Basic Life Support
- Six months dental assisting experience (preferred)
- Experience with pediatric patients (preferred)
- Understanding of dental operations and compliance requirements
- Skilled in placing dental sealants and assisting the dentist
