About the role
- The position is responsible for meeting customer satisfaction and placement goals.
- Staff is focused on placement services by using Employ Florida (EF), job boards, and community resources.
- The position is responsible for prioritizing work demands with a focus on customer satisfaction by ensuring quality job referrals are made based on employer defined skill sets and requirements.
- The position also ensures that all services provided are adequately documented in the State database, alerts job seekers to customer satisfaction surveys, and inform job seekers of all CareerSource Escarosa services.
- All work is done to ensure CareerSource Escarosa goals are met and that customer satisfaction has been earned.
- Manages job seeker expectations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years’ experience in counseling, human services, human resources, customer service, computer support or a related area is required.
- Ability to provide outstanding, positive, and professional customer service.
- A high level of proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft office, email applications.
- Keyboarding/typing skills of 40 words per minute (test will be administered).
- Proficiency in internet applications; ability to navigate and comprehend a variety of employment related websites.
- Experience with the EFM website is a plus.
- Ability to learn new technologies as they are introduced.
- Interpersonal skills; energetic personality, positive attitude and a high level of commitment to helping and serving people.
- Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
