About the role
- Plans, directs and coordinates the accounting, collection and billing functions
- Audits, analyzes and reviews services for verification of all insurance information
- Researches claims for Medicaid, Medicare and other third party insurance
- Responsible for collaborating with other departments as needed
- Reviews claims for CPT and ICD-10 coding accuracy
Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years of Medical billing experience
- Must have experience working with CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Preferred - Experience with HMS, MS Word, and Excel
- Experience with Medicaid, Medicare and various insurance billing policies
