- Completing sales and use tax audits
- Providing technical assistance and support to audit staff
- Developing, maintaining, and delivering educational courses
- Reviewing audits for quality control
- Assisting with audits
- Providing feedback for the development of audit procedures
- Preparing presentations regarding tax law and audit procedures
- Developing aids to assist audit staff
- Developing audit training
- Creating surveys to measure learner satisfaction and course effectiveness
- Facilitating training through web conferencing software or in a classroom setting
- Converting and creating auditor content that is engaging and interactive
Requirements
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue
- 30 months of experience performing sales and use tax audits in the compliance audit process
- Six months of experience as a Tax Auditor IV or Tax Auditor V
- Experience training others
- Experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience working with SAP/ACM (Systems, Applications, and Products/Audit Case Management)
