About the role

  • Plans, coordinates and travels the state to train leadership and professional development trainings and academies offered by Workforce Learning and Development across the state
  • Services as a Career Ladder (CL) Professional Development Specialist which includes but is not limited to; completing one-on-one meetings with interested participants identifying CL individual development plan
  • Gathers feedback from attendees after each professional development session offered by Workforce Learning and Development through surveys

Requirements

  • At least two years’ experience in a training environment, training and facilitating adult learners in a classroom environment
  • Experience facilitating virtual training sessions using Microsoft Teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to travel across the state to deliver necessary trainings at least one week a month
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
