Create, develop, and maintain a responsive and user-centric web app with React/NextJS, TypeScript, and Jotai.
Own new features, improve existing features, and take initiative in the iterative development process of the company's products
Implement best practices to maintain the app’s fast and responsive performance, especially on mobile devices.
Tackle complex challenges with effective, innovative solutions that enhance user experience.
Ensure clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, contributing to a sustainable development environment.
Support the integration of real-time data and enhance user interactions for trading functionalities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Founder, First Engineer, or Lead experience at a significant, reputable DeFi project building with React/NextJS, Typescript, and Jotai
Must have experience where you have owned and built the frontend of a real-time, highly interactive trading platform
Proven ability to work independently and take initiative with a proactive mindset to push tasks forward
Must have experience working alongside leadership and founders to make key decisions about the frontend of a trading web app including, but not limited to, tech stack, product design, and feature design.
Expertise in creating fast, dynamic and optimized web interfaces
Comfort with real-time data handling and websocket management
Adept at identifying potential challenges or improvements and implementing effective solutions promptly
Strong ability to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with team members
A genuine curiosity and understanding of cryptocurrency and trading trends
Strong communication skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team. Experience working within a mid-sized engineer team.
