About the role

  • Lead, coach, and scale StartEngine’s Private Sales team of FINRA-registered representatives
  • Evaluate, hire, onboard, and train new sales talent as the business continues to grow
  • Set clear performance expectations, sales targets, and accountability frameworks
  • Drive revenue by improving sales process, deal execution, and investor engagement
  • Actively coach reps on calls, deal strategy, objection handling, and closing
  • Monitor KPIs, conversion rates, and pipeline health to optimize performance
  • Ensure compliance with FINRA regulations and internal policies across the team
  • Partner closely with executive leadership, compliance, and operations to support growth initiatives

Requirements

  • FINRA Series 24 (required)
  • Proven experience leading commission-based sales teams in financial services
  • Background selling complex financial products (private securities, alternatives, secondaries, or similar)
  • Strong coaching mindset with a track record of developing top-performing salespeople
  • Deep understanding of accredited investors and high-touch consultative sales
  • Active FINRA licenses required for supervisory roles, including: Series 7, 63, 24
  • Highly data-driven, competitive, and comfortable operating in a performance-oriented environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable building, iterating, and scaling processes
